We do not quite overlook the revival of torture or even murder as a normal part of the operations of public security in modern states (Eric Hobsbawm: Age of Extremes, page 14).
Most of the political régimes have a dark side [the tabooed face of the god of the Bible: ‘pleased with carnage’, ‘cruel’ (Wiener Justizstallungen)] of obscene secret rituals and apparatuses (Slavoj Zizek, NLR, Nov/Dec 1999).
The world is certainly more unstable now that the Cold War is over. In every region of the world it seems that human rights are being rolled back… Governments are prepared to go to great lengths to cover up their crimes… They use sophisticated public relaions techniques, lies behind lies… Plausible deniability is the new weapon in the secret policeman’s armory… Human rights abuses have not gone away. It is strange that despite the fact that the problems I have described ‘are within the jurisdiction of the Data Inspection Board’, but DIB did not make any effort to do something about it: “I have no more help to support you”, and “I am afraid that the Data Inspection Board… cannot be of any assistance. I can only hope that your fight is successful” (Sept 20 2002). What is then the function of DIB?

The role assigned “to data protectors as watchdogs over surveillance practices… has become one of serving as the conscience of the government”. The “question” is “whether data protection laws and agencies… are an effective antidote to the emergence… of surveillance societies. In the last days of April 2013 (Greece, Naxos, Tripodon Street, where I lived about 5 years), a bunch of music scores (orchestra and chamber music), some of them large, 110 times 43 centimeter, and a suitcase, containing material for two orchestral works of mine + some scores, disappeared[3]_ irreplaceable!
On the one hand boycott of my music (file: ‘New York, Zürich, Warsaw’). On the other hand stealing (destruction of) my music scores in the EU[4].
In May I moved two times to other places. The present apartment since June is the third one.
November 10 2013: I open the door of the closet. I see the stolen suitcase in front of me: Empty.
Disappearances in April put great strain on my heart, got lightly colored underarms sweat. In November I have severe heart failure and strong ‘Colored sweat’ (c.f. file Colored Sweat).
Internet: Chromhidrosis (also referred to as ‘Colored sweat’ is a rare condition characterized by the secretion of colored sweat. The focus of the EU is economy, not human rights. Human rights should start by considering humans as flesh and blood, and each, individually, with particular needs, abilities and potentialities (propensities).
Human rights presuppose democracy and democracy is based on human rights. So that attacking democracy is attacking human rights: “One of the crucial parts of the European Union is the transfer of power to unaccountable central banks. That’s a tremendous attack on democracy. It’s so extreme that even conservative sectors in the United States have been shocked by it” (Noam Chomsky, SW 13 May 2000).
