Berichtigung

Nov 15 2019.

2- E-Mail lange unterwegs.

  1. ‘She informed me by email, which I didn’t receive’, ’email doesn’t work always in Iran’ (MV-Sarafi-Shiraz). About 15 years ago (now 2019): a few times emails from and to Iran (Tehran, Shiraz) did not arrive_ and did not arrive also long after expected arrivals.
  2. E-Mail aus Dänemark nach Berlin Bundestag 16 Tage unterwegs: Probleme mit ‘Email-Server’.

Diese Probleme existieren nicht für Millionen.

Beschreibung der oben erwähnten ‘Sendungen nach Polen’.

Aug 12 2019, I sent email to Iwona Kisiel-Król, ISCM Polish Section.

From my email: ‘concerning: Kazimierz Serocki 16th International Composers’ Competition 2019: ‘The score, printed on the paper, should be submitted anonymously and marked with an alphanumeric emblem.’

Then:

‘The payment receipt must be enclosed with the submitted score.’, which has the name of the sender as the composer. Then the submitted score is not ‘anonymously’.

Could you kindly clear my confusion?

From email of Iwona, Aug 12 2019:
‘let me explain it to you. Indeed, the Jury will receive all scores
anonymously. While watching at music, they will only see Emblem, not a real
name of Composer.

But, the secretary of the Jury (me) has to know who is a sender, and has to
check the payment. Although, that stays only for my eyes.’

From email of Iwona Oct 27 2019: ‘yes, I confirm I have received  few copies of two of your pieces.’

There were three jurors: from Poland, England and Sweden. I contacted two of them per email: Patterson (England, Oct 29 2019), and Österling (Sweden, Nov 2 2019).

From my email to them:

‘Confusion whether two scores with eye-catching emblem

have reached the jury. Did you see them?’

None of them answered.

ISCM Polamd 2019:

Sure, the scores arrived in Poland.

Not sure, the scores reached the jury.

ISCM Switzerland 1991

Sure, the score arrived in Switzerland.

Sure, the score did not reach the Jury. C.f. Uitti (May 28, 1991. ‘your score evidently was not seen’). Finnisi (30 July 1991. ‘I am distressed… with… the ISCM… Zurich… a very uncommon occurence’.

But then: ‘Only works of Finnish composers’:
